Rental yield

Rental yield estimates annual rent as a percentage of purchase price and helps compare investment efficiency across cities.

Simple formula

Gross yield is annual rent divided by purchase price. Net yield is lower because it subtracts taxes, vacancy, repairs, management, and transaction costs.

How to compare cities

A high-yield city may carry more vacancy, regulation, or currency risk. DomusEmpire combines yield with price and location signals instead of ranking by yield alone.

When to use it

Use yield to shortlist investment candidates, then validate demand, liquidity, building condition, and local ownership costs.
