A room for rent roughly 19 m2 in size. It has a great window overlooking the centre garden of the district of Eyrin in the middle of Akureyri, very close to the city centre. The room is located on the second floor of the house, the floor is shared with two other tenants with their own rooms. There is a nice kitchen with two refrigerators, microwave, washing machine and oven. There is a general space for hanging up laundry. There is a bathtub and a shower in the bathroom. A small hallway and a staircase are shared space as well. The room itself may be rotated in any way the tenant desires. There is a large mattress that serves as a bed, and generally comfortable and cozy living space within the room itself. We have strict no party rules, that includes any excessive use of alcohol. We do not tolerate any form of narcotics, as well as smoking of marijuana, nicotine cigarettes, or vaping devises. At the end of the day we are a peace loving home seeking out peace loving tenants who are respectable members of society. Whether you are a traveling vagabond looking for work or adventure, or a student at the local university in need of an abode temporarily or long term, we look forward to making your acquaintance. There is no security deposit required for this room. There is however a non refundable booking fee of a 100.000kr which is paid only once by the tenant if they wish to make a formal contract for the sake of financial security reasons and for the application for housing benefits. But if the tenant wishes simply to rent without a contract then this is acceptable as well. A guarantee of purchase for the month is established once a wire transfer of the rent has been handled via email by the landlord. The rent includes all costs of wifi, heating, electricity etc. There are no other lingering payments attached to the room other than what has been described here. We look at all applications and should the tenant wish to move into the room in the middle of the month (assuming the room is still available at that time) they would only pay for half the month.
